Chuck Jaymes

Acc. Rep
Chuck Jaymes is an account representative who brings over twenty years of management experience to the team at Virtual Assistant, Inc.  He has worked in a variety of fields, most of them in international business operations, being based primarily out of Washington, D.C.  With experience in supervising, administration, business development, and internet marketing, Chuck now leads our office of virtual assistants in the Philippines.

Chuck began his career as Office Manager for UXB International, Inc. who was the first private company to win a government contract for unexploded ordnance disposal.  In 1985, UXB won a clearance contract from the U.S. Army to perform work in Hawthorne, Nevada for $3.2m where Chuck helped to supervise over 100 employees during the yearlong project.

From there, Chuck was hired by PGH International, Inc. as Director of Administration.  PGH was a leading defense-consulting firm during the late 1980’s and 1990’s that helped clients generate sales of over $500m.  The client list at PGH included such European powerhouses as Vickers Defense Systems Ltd, FBM Marine, Mabey & Johnson Bridging, WIBE and UTA Airlines.

In 2000, International Business Development, Inc. lured Chuck away from PGH where he was offered the position of Vice President.  International Business Development, Inc. provides clients in the defense industry with innovative marketing campaigns to increase sales.  IBD, Inc. has offices located in Washington, D.C. and London.  They have helped clients generate over $700m in sales to the U.S. Army, Navy and Coast Guard.

In 2003, Chuck returned to the ordnance disposal industry when he was offered the position of Director of Administration by US Land Solutions, Inc.  As a sister company of European Land Solutions, USLS has performed ordnance clearance operations in Iraq, Afghanistan and Mozambique.  Chuck provided key support in writing contract proposals and developing logistics support for important international projects.  Chuck also headed up a USLS team that performed work for the Army Corps of Engineers at Buckroe Beach, Virginia in support of dredging operations.

In 2005, tiring of the Washington, D.C. environment, Chuck moved to Charleston, South Carolina where he became a valuable member of BPA Air Quality Solutions.  Besides bringing his many years of management experience to Team BPA, Chuck honed highly developed skills in Search Engine Optimization and Internet marketing as part of Team BPA.  Chuck has helped to develop highly successful marketing campaigns for over a dozen new websites.

In addition to his administrative and managerial skills, Chuck is also a prolific writer.  He has helped create several explosive ordnance disposal Health & Safety plans and was a former Associate Editor for Fairfax Magazine based in Fairfax, Virginia.  Chuck also has Expert Author status for several online magazines where he contributes articles ranging from air quality control issues to Internet marketing.

Chuck has one child, a son, who is proudly serving his country in the U.S. Navy on the USS Cole.
